“Euphoria” is a very special piece of mine, as it reflects some of my personal growth that I have experienced while writing it. During my first semester of college, I became so consumed with my work to the point of me losing contact with many of my loved ones and even neglecting my own well-being. When I came home, I felt very drained and unhappy, causing me to search for ways to restore the previous youth, bliss, and vibrance that I once possessed. This work strives to outline my journey of regaining myself and my happiness. The composition first portrays this larger-than-life happiness that I previously believed to be my own reality, exuding a brightness and sense of boundless optimism that used to define my being. The music then begins to lose its form and structure, mirroring how I began to lose my balance, joy, and sense of self. During this period, I entered an introspective state where I examined my own upbringing, motives, and character. Through these actions, I was able to regain myself and discover new sources of jubilation. The melody that was once lost now returns with new meaning and purpose, relating to my own experience. While I could not reclaim the carefree days of my youth, I was able to accept living in my new reality, and realize that true happiness always lies within.
